UCBL CUSTOM MADE FOOT ORTHOTICS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
3 mm funky kids top cover, and semi-rigid core. It is custom made to stabilize the heel and works best for those who have a foot deformity. The UCBL has a deep heel up, as well as a medial and lateral wall which helps hold the foot in a neutral position. It provides excellent control in the medial arch and lateral foot. Many cases of pes ano-valgus can be corrected using a UCBL with good medial support.
Raw Material
-The orthotics is manufactured by creating a positive plaster cast from the negative 3d plaster cast/foam impression. The shell of the orthotic is created by using appropriate thermoplastic.
Completion of the orthotic is accompanied by the addition of suitable cushioning, top cover, modifications/additions and extension materials.

-Canada Orthomedix Inc., is a central Laboratory for the manufacturing of custom orthotics. This service is Provided to Podiatrist, Chiropodists, Chiropractors and other specialists. All technicians are qualified and trained in the manufacturing of these orthotics.
